Our skin regenerates itself approximately every 27 days. However, as we age our cellular turnover slows down and takes approximately 40 to 56 days for your epidermis to completely turn over. This timeline only lengthens as we age and is why we notice changes in our skin. At Classic we recommend a daily routine to keep our skin looking younger and more radiant. It's all about prevention rather than trying to reverse the effects of aging.

AM
1. Cleanser
Use a gentle cleanser to remove excess oils and skin care from the night before
2. Toner
To hydrate and rebalance the skin
3. Water Based Serum
Normally hyaluronic acid based because a dry skin = a wrinkled skin
4. Oil Based Serum
Vitamin C to help brighten and protect against free radical damage
5. Eye Cream
Helps improve circulation and puffiness as the skin around the eyes is ten times thinner than the rest of the face
6. Moisturiser
Helps to lock in the serums and create nourishment
7. Sunscreen
Provides protection against UVA/UVB rays and has anti -blue light and anti-pollution benefits

PM
1. Cleanser x2
We recommend cleansing twice at night. An oil cleanser is great to remove makeup and pollution throughout the day. For your 2nd cleanse we recommend you use a cleanser which targets your concerns.
2. Toner
Helps to calm inflammation and prepare the skin for your night-time skincare
3. Water Based Serum
Rehydrates, replenishes, and boosts the skin with hyaluronic acid
4. Oil Based Serum
Vitamin A/retinol serums to prompt cellular turner/anti-aging benefits
5. Eye Cream
Softens fine lines around eyes and repairs cellular DNA
6. Moisturiser
Helps to soothe your skin after a long day, boosts collagen and regenerates the skin while sleeping
WEEKLY
1. Chemical or Physical Exfoliant (twice per week)
Exfoliation is the key to boosting cell turnover. Whether physical (scrubs) or chemical (acids), exfoliation removes dead skin cells and encourages the generation of new cells. A combination of both is best.
2. Face Mask (once per week)
A clay mask is great for decongesting the skin and refining the pores, whereas a hydrating mask is ideal to help soothe and calm our skin along with anti-aging benefits.
We offer free facial consults if you have any questions or would like more information. We would love to hear from you! :-)
